Death Notices, Obituaries
All obituaries (including photo and flag) and death notices cost $.75 per line. Obituaries are placed online at www.eprisenow.com for a one-time $10 charge. Funeral homes must submit obits, notices and photos by 4 p.m. the day before the obit is to be published. Obituaries are accepted only through funeral homes.  If a funeral home does not have an existing account with Media General, the deadline is 3 p.m. with pre-payment required.

Letters to the Editor
Letters should be 150 words or fewer. Letters must include day and evening telephone numbers for verification. Letters that cannot be verified will not be considered for publication. Unsigned letters will not be published.
