Wildcats girls’ softball falls to Rehobeth, 6-3
The home stretch of the regular softball season didn’t begin as Enterprise High School coach Ben Thompson had planned; the Lady Wildcats lost to Rehobeth, 6-3, Tuesday night and fell to 28-18-1, on the year.
Kinston, Zion Chapel bring familiar faces on board as coaches
Coffee County Schools Board of Education members Tuesday night approved head coaches at Kinston and Zion Chapel schools. The board approved employment for Jason Wambles as the new head football coach for Kinston. Wambles will also teach several classes, along with his head coach duties.

Wildcats advance in playoffs
The Enterprise Wildcats advanced to the second round of the 6A baseball playoffs Saturday afternoon by taking the third game in a best-of-three series from the Robert E. Lee Generals, 6-5, at Lint Warren Field.

Enterprise, Elba baseball teams make high school playoffs
While the Enterprise Wildcats and Elba Tigers both qualified for post-season play, the paths the two will follow are quite different: area champion Enterprise is at home against Robert E. Lee today, while Elba, an area co-champion, is on the road in Excel.

EHS ninth graders win thriller over Jaguars
It took until the final buzzer for the Enterprise High School ninth grade boys basketball team to win its ninth game of the season Thursday in Clayton. The Wildcats won a thriller 38-37 in the Barbour County High School gymnasium where many a good team goes to get trounced.
