School system approves resignations, transfers

Enterprise City Schools officials called a special meeting Wednesday to accept several resignations and transfers that will be effective at the end of the current school year.

Superintendent Jim Reese said resignations include: Norman Samuy, a fifth grade teacher at Harrand Creek Elementary; Linda Swain, a special education resource aide at College Street Elementary; and Betty Fergus, an Enterprise High School math teacher.

Transfers included: Brian Jones, who will continue in his role as assistant football coach at Enterprise Junior High, but will move from being a science teacher to teaching math; Mary Meyers, who will remain at Harrand Creek Elementary, but will move from resource aid to instructional aide; and Barbara Sessions, who will also remain at Harrand Creek Elementary, but will move from instructional aide to resource aide.
