Perdue wreck injures driver and load of chickens

One survivor of the Perdue chicken truck wreck walks around as state troopers and other law enforcement personnel work the scene. The accident occured around 10:15 a.m. this morning. More than 3,600 chickens were loaded on the truck when the vehicle overturned on Highway 134 and County Road 610.

A Perdue Farms semi carrying more than 3,600 chickens turned over on Highway 134 and the intersection of County Road 610 at approximately 10:15 a.m. this morning.
The driver was transported to Medical Center Enterprise with reported injuries. The Alabama State Troopers office, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department and Enterprise Police are still on the scene.
