One injured in Monday morning accident

A female driver was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7 a.m. this morning on Highway 134, near County Road 617.

An early Monday morning wreck left the lone driver with minor injuries as the vehicle apparently left the roadway and skidded into a heavily wooded area.
New Brockton police, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department deputies, state troopers and the Goodman Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene around 7 a.m. when the accident occurred.
The driver was transported to Medical Center Enterprise with reportedly minor injuries.
Law enforcement officials directed traffic around the scene until approximately 8 a.m.
The accident occurred on Highway 134 and County Road 617.
