McDonald’s employee arrested for theft

Enterprise McDonald’s employee Daniel Lynn Johnston, Jr., a 19-year-old Enterprise resident, has been arrested and charged with second-degree theft of property, according to police reports, for allegedly stealing a deposit bag of money from the store.
According to reports, the arrest took place April 29.
Also on April 29, police reportedly arrested 24-year-old Freddie Eugene Shorts, Jr. and 40-year-old Nicholas Nigel Robertson, both of Enterprise, in connection with an April 23 burglary at an apartment on Dixie Drive.
Police Captain Mike Lolley said Shorts and Robertson allegedly went to the home of a man they knew on Dixie Drive, beat him up and took his money.
In other reports, police arrested 46-year-old Rocky Edwards Jones of Enterprise May 1 and charged him with felony distribution of a controlled substance.
Police arrested 22-year-old Jessie Thigpen of Enterprise on May 1 and charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to reports. The arrest reportedly took place on Carroll Street, where Thigpen resides.
Michael Harp, 47, of Enterprise was arrested May 2, according to reports, and charged with felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of marijuana.
The arrest reportedly took place at Harp’s residence on Springdale Drive.
