Joan King Lewis, 69, killed in Florida accident

An Enterprise woman was killed Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. after the vehicle, driver by her husband overturned on State Highway 79 about three miles south of Vernon, Fla.
Reports state that Joan King Lewis, 69, of Enterprise, was instantly killed wht the dark-green Honda, driven by husband, Ray Maxwell Lewis, 72, went off the road, hit a culvert, overturned and flipped over onto the roof.
The driver was taken to Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Fla., and was treated for minor injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Lewis was a member of the Enterprise Pilot Club and was a community leader.
