Felony arrests made by Enterprise Police

Tatasha Rogers, 35, of Enterprise wasy arrested Friday morning by Enterrprise police and charged with two felony counts of child abuse.

Police Captain Mike Lolley said Rogers’ neighbor reported Rogers to the Alabama Department of Human Resources for spanking her children with an extension cord, which left bruises on the children. Police then executed a warrant for Rogers’ arrest.

Police arrested 32-year-old Aaron Lavoy Smith of Enterprise Friday and charged him with felony possession of forged checks.

According to Lolley, the checks came from a checkbook stolen from a car.

Bernard Namon Orlando Blackmon, 21, of Enterprise was arrested Saturday on four felony counts of first-degree theft of property, according to police reports.

Lolley said Blackmon sold four vehicles to a salvage yard, but an investigation revealed Blackmon did not own the vehicles.

Travis Vernell Lawrence, 29, of Enterprise was arrested Sunday and charged with two felony counts of second-degree receiving stolen property and one felony count of failure to notify his change of address as a felon to local authorities, according to reports. Lolley said Lawrence was found to be in possession of a laptop computer and a drill taken from vehicles which were reportedly vandalized in the Centurytel parking lot on South Industrial Boulevard.

In other reports, Kemo Kenyon Bush, 26, of Enterprise was arrested April 24 at Boll Weevil Plaza and charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence, felony possession of marijuana and felony fugitive from justice.

Mary Elisabeth Marino, 21, of Apache Drive, Enterprise was arrested in her home Friday morning for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to police reports.
