Bonds totaling more than $1 million were set by Circuit Judge Paul Sherling in court Friday.
Three suspects were arrested last Wednesday and charged with first-degree manufacturing meth. The three were arrested on County Road 315 after an initial traffic stop by a state trooper.
Kystal Dawn Hudson, 26, of Kinston, was released from the Coffee County Jail on a $500,000 bond. Stephanie Denise Cosby, 34, of Elba, was released from jail on a property bond of $75,000.
David Elwood Chestnut, 29, of Opp, remains in the Coffee County Jail under a $500,000 bond.
All the defendants are supposed to appear in district court Thursday, Sept. 11, at 8:30 a.m.
In an unrelated statement Monday, Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton said several more county burglary suspects are expected to be arrested soon.
The sheriff’s department and the Enterprise Police Department worked as one team last week to make arrests on two people believed to have been the culprits in many burglaries throughout the county and involved in robberies in Enterprise.
Sutton said some of the burglaries date back to five years.
“We had a lot of people get their property back that resulted in the arrests,” he said. “I want to thank the Enterpise police and our guys for working together so well and I want to thank the Coffee County Commission for giving us the materials we needed to do this.”
